Dance is more than just on-stage performance — it’s also everything behind the scenes. As a theatre technician, I support dance artists by combining my technical skill with artistic vision to create impactful on-stage experiences.

Lighting Designer & Stage Manager

05/2025
- Collaborated with recital director and venue staff to stage recital in accordance with the venue’s standards while fulfilling the vision of the recital
- Programmed light cues prior to tech rehearsal using ETC Nomad
- Called light, sound, curtain, and projector cues as stage manager

04/2025
- Lighting designer and stage manager for “Rat, an Opera”, an original piece of theatre by Professor Chung-Fu Chang. Ben Sacks, Annika Zmijewski, and Professor Sarah Zwick-Tapley
- Set up QLab to run audio and projector files for board operator
Production Intern
American Dance Festival –

06/2024 – 07/2024
- Worked with ADF colleagues, Duke University theatre staff, and presenting companies to assist production of the eighteen performances for the season
- Notable companies include Pilobulus, Paul Taylor, David Dorfman, Radical System Art, and Hung Dance Taiwan
- Assisted with load-in of shows, LX hang/focus, and electrics
- Worked as LBO, SBO, A2, wardrobe hand, and deck hand
Lighting Designer, Board Operator, & Stage manager
Colorado State University –
Fort Collins, CO
08/2022 and 08/2023
- Worked the technical side of CSU’s 2022 and 2023 rendition of their summer dance program, DanceLab
- Set up and utilized QLab workspace to run audio
- Established intensity levels, fade times, follows, and more using ETC Ion
- Troubleshooted technical issues during rehearsals and performances
